Our life insurance plans pay a benefit to an employee beneficiary in the event of death.

 

OPTIONAL LIFE INSURANCE
Employees have the opportunity to purchase additional life insurance. Employee and family coverage available.

 

SPECIAL ACCIDENT (OPTIONAL)
This plan offers full 24-hour accident protection anywhere in the world. Employee and family coverage available.

 

SHORT TERM DISABILITY
If an employee is unable to return to work following the five working day period because of illness or injury (non-work related) a portion of their salary may be continued.

 

LONG TERM DISABILITY
If an employee is totally and permanently disabled, benefits may be available through our LTD group plan.

 

EMPLOYEE EDUCATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Tuition reimbursement is available if the employee meets eligibility requirements and study program is applicable to the employee’s potential growth and value to the company.

 

COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERING
We offer every employee the opportunity to contribute up to 40 hours of paid volunteer time at a charity of their choosing. Employee time volunteered beyond the 40 hours is eligible for a “Dollars for Doers” financial donation for their charity.

 

STOCK BONUS TRUST PLAN
Fairmount Santrol may make a contribution to the plan each year, with the amount based on the company’s performance.

 

401(k) PLAN
Employees can contribute a portion of their pay to the plan on a pre-tax basis, up to IRS limits.

 

INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM
Employees may be eligible for a bonus based on meeting personal goals and profitability goals of the company.

 

VACATION
Accrued vacation credit is based on length of service and number of months worked in the calendar year.

 

HOLIDAYS
Nine paid holidays including: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve.

 

LIFE SAFETY INCENTIVES
The Life Safety Incentive will measure and reward your active involvement with our Safety & Health Culture. We are promoting ownership in personal safety and the safety of others. Our family and peers expect us to live safely. Our Life Safety Incentive Program has the objective of inspiring pro-active engagement through Pro-Active Health & Safety Programs & Initiatives. The measure of our success is in the reduction of injury and illness. The Life Safety Incentive is a financial incentive rewarding our safe and healthy behavior.
